Innovative Clinical Nurse Leader with over 14 years’ experience in leadership, ambulatory and acute care including pediatric and adult emergency department, oncology (infusion, medical and radiation), pediatric and adult burn unit, and the sickle cell unit. In 2019, under my leadership and vision, the Department of Navigators was developed with less than 10 nurses supporting out oncology, chronic and complex patient needs. To date, there are now over 30 specialty RN Navigators on this academic campus supporting acute and ambulatory patients and organization. System subject matter expert on navigation. Recipient of the 2020 Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix Nurses Day Award in Nursing Leadership for reorganization, engaging /energizing team with a 97% leadership score. Earned an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in 2008 at Scottsdale Community College, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University (GCU) in 2018 and working to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership/Master of Business Administration (MSN-L/MBA). Holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) and is a Certified Oncology Nurse. Co-Founder/Co-Program Director of the Association of Chronic and Complex Care Nurse Navigators (ACCCNN).
